We were not allowed a "camp fire" with wood.... but Joe & Linz did bring a propane pit and you are allowed that!! Here is a close up of a shot I caught of one of the flames. I didn't realize I caught it until Alex pointed it out :-) I *heart* it!!!

My flowers

Those of you who know me... know I am not very good at keeping flowers/plants alive. I may have broken that bad streak. This is a potted flower in my kitchen. Each flower is smaller than a dime. I LOVE it! As you can see, there are still a few blossoms to open :-)

It never ceases to amaze me.....

I was digging through old photos today and found this one. No matter where I go in Victoria.. I always see this view. It is everywhere. It mesmerizes me, every time I see it, I have to stare. It is breathtaking!

Downtown Series

The 1st shot is of the Parliament building from the harbor. The 2nd is of the creepy "Live Puppets" that would play music for money. After a minute or 2 they stop playing and "fall asleep", for lack of a better word, and wait for more money :-S The 3rd is of the Empress Hotel. I hear it is beautiful inside also. The 4th is of "Plasterman" That is a real man, not a statue. We watched him for quite a while and he did not move an inch!

Downtown Series ~ Dolphin :-)

This guy is awesome! He is about 6 ft long and so colorful.

Downtown Series ~ Inner Harbor

The 1st shot is of the Navy centennial statue .. it is called "The Homecoming" :-)
 The 2nd one is of the Parliament building ( in the distance ) and the Inner Harbor market :-) The 3rd is self explanatory ;-) The 4th is one of many Dolphins around downtown. I will be posting another one tomorrow. My favorite!

I *heart* the Bay centre. It is on my favorite street downtown. Government. The 1st pic is of the clock on the ceiling. The 2nd is of the beautiful sky lights and the 3rd is of the fountain that lies outside my favorite Starbucks door to the centre :-)

No downtown series would be complete without a shot of the Lush Store on Government! The 2nd is a restaurant call Bard and Banker. Great building and then on the way to the Bay Centre on a side street, you will find this view AND Crabtree & Evelyn.

Downtown Series~ Trounce Alley

This is Trounce Alley. At the Opening, there is a scary man that Mia does not like He was showing her he wasn't real. Then they did some stuff from the movie the "Shining" They were using their "REDRUM" finger lol. Down the stairs, behind Chris, is a haunted house type thing were you can walk through and the the doody scared out of you. Chris went there on his 1st day in Victoria :-)
