Downtown Series Mona

While we were walking around downtown, we stopped to watch this guy making Mona Lisa. What awesome talent he has! If you notice to the  right side , beside his collection tin, he has written. "Thank you, Your Support Feeds my Motivation..." So sad that after a days hard work, that even just  little rain will make this all go away....

Just me and my Rebel....

Just playing around with my Rebel and thought I would take a few shots with my Webcam. They turned out pretty good! Except for the person holding the camera . lol

Randomness

The first shot was too cool not to post. The 2nd was just "pretty" and the last one... well I don't know what it is... They were all over the sand at Witty's Lagoon....

Pill Bugs

We call these pill bugs... we are not sure what they are really called, but we love them! When we see them, we HAVE to touch them!! They are about the size of an eraser head. I was able to get a pretty good closeup and then the progress of him opening up again.

Firewroks

I am still learning how to use my new Canon Rebel. I was able to get a few good shots last night! Our backyard is perfect for watching fireworks! The last one is fuzzy on purpose.. trying out different tricks!

Ships in the Lagoon

The first pic and the 3rd pic  are of the US ship Ronald Regan. It is an air craft carrier. Huge! The middle one is of a cruise ship.. I just liked the pic!

Intoxicating...

There is something about the sky here in B.C that has me mesmerized... I am going to head down to the Lagoon tonight to get some pics of the Ships. I am hoping the sky cooperates then. ( it is getting cloudy out now )

This guy was on our lawn the other day for quite a while.. I wish he would have trimmed the lawn a bit more so I wouldn't have to mow it..lol
